Since Parry Shen’s breakout performance in Paramount's “Better Luck Tomorrow”, leading a group of over-achieving honor roll students into a downward spiral of crime -- whether it's in Columbia Pictures', “The New Guy”, to the “Hatchet” horror quadrilogy, to Daytime's “General Hospital”, to Netflix's “Kung Fu Panda”, to narrating RL Stine's “Goosebumps” or Netherrealm's “Mortal Kombat” video game franchise; Parry has continued to demonstrate his wide range no matter the project, platform or medium.

With over 350 film & television appearances including Prime's “"SECRET LEVEL"” and Netflix's "Kung-Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight" as the loveable but acerbic 'Weimin', Parry is the ONLY actor to have been in all 4 Hatchet films (aside from Victor Crowley himself!) He takes the lead in the 4th film, “Victor Crowley”, after being the sole survivor 10 years after the 3rd film.

He has portrayed 'Brad Cooper' for 12 Seasons on ABC's “General Hospital”. “Daytime Confidential” named Parry as one of the 10 Best Soap Newcomers and “Soap Opera Digest” dedicated a 2-page spread to highlight Parry's role as being a fan favorite. In 2016, the marriage of Brad & Lucas signified a momentous, landmark occasion being the first same-sex marriage in the show’s over 5 decade history.

He returns in "MK1" as TAKEDA and voice can also be heard in the videogames, "The Walking Dead: Michonne" (Zachary), "Marvel's LEGO Avengers" (The Iron Legion), "Mortal Kombat X" (Takeda), "Sleeping Dogs" (Winston), and "Magic: The Gathering - Arena " (Jiang). Parry also voices 'Shinji', a firefighter action figure on the Disney Jr. show, “Doc McStuffins”. He lends his voice as the narrator of “Slappy in Dreamland”, from RL Stine's legendary Goosebumps series.

His first producing endeavor “UNIDENTIFIED”, was distributed by Dark Sky Films and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.

Parry has spoken at over 100 Universities in his spare time -- demystifying the acting business and sharing his experiences as an Asian American in the media to college students across the country. He has been profiled on “Entertainment Tonight” and “Extra” as well as in Rolling Stone, People Magazine and The Wall Street Journal.

He is also the co-creator of the graphic novels, “Secret Identities: The Asian American Superhero Anthology” and “SHATTERED”, both published by The New Press and available at all on-line book retailers.

Parry resides in California surrounded by the women in his life: his wife, two daughters & dog, Roxi.
